Love Next Door follows the story of Choi Seung-Hyo, a rising star architect, and Bae Seok-Ryu, a burnt-out product manager. Their lives become intertwined when Seok-Ryu returns to her hometown to reboot her life, and guess who lives next door? Yep, Seung-Hyo.
There’s a twist though! These seemingly perfect neighbors have a complicated past. They’ve known each other since childhood, thanks to their mothers being friends, and let’s just say, young Seok-Ryu made Seung-Hyo’s life a living nightmare.
Choi Seung-Hyo (Jung Hae-In): The male protagonist, Seung-Hyo is a talented and admired architect running his own firm, “The Architecture Atelier In.” He seems to have it all – good looks, success, and a charming personality. However, his past with Seok-Ryu haunts him.
Bae Seok-Ryu (Jung So-Min): Nicknamed “Bae Sorghum” (because she can be prickly!), Seok-Ryu is a product manager at a large corporation. Feeling burnt out, she decides to take a break and return to her hometown.
Jung Mo-Eum (Kim Ji-Eun): Seok-Ryu’s best friend and confidante. Mo-Eum is a supportive and understanding character who helps Seok-Ryu navigate her new life.
Kang Dan-Ho (Yun Ji-On): Seung-Hyo’s friend and colleague at the architecture firm.
